Flint River Apartments is now leasing to families with low-to-moderate income levels in the Huntsville area.
An open house and ribbon cutting for Candlewick Senior in Monroeville was held August 25. The newly rehabilitated development was financed in part by $501,914 in Housing Credits administered by AHFA.
Sisters Morgan and Taylor Bethune, residents of Angela Meadows in Albertville, have both benefited from the Alabama Affordable Housing Association's annual resident scholarship.
On June 2, the AHFA Board of Directors approved the developments selected to receive allocations of 2016 HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds and/or Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. Ten developments were approved and are expected to create 634 units of affordable housing across Alabama.
